My dad maintained a flower and vegetable garden throughout my childhood and I grew up learning a lot through him. When I moved into the city, I missed the outdoor space and began building a little "rainforest" in my apartment. I started playing around with various plants and vintage wood and glass pieces collected from flea markets. Terrariums kind of blossomed from all of this. Each plant project is like a miniature experiment for me. I enjoy figuring out the ranges and limits for each plant and container. Can this grow from a clipping? How well will this do in a closed terrarium vs open? Now how do I make this better?
